A local journalist has been named as an accused in a case filed over a clash between two parties concerning the possession of government Vested Property (VP) land in Badalgachhi, Naogaon, which resulted in one death. However, the journalist claimed that he was not even present at the scene during the clash. Furthermore, the plaintiff of the case, the younger brother of the deceased, stated that he does not know or recognize journalist Russel Rana, who is listed as the 15th accused in the case filed with the court or police station. Regarding the incident, journalist Russel Rana alleged that he was named as an accused in the case on the instructions of Balubhara Union Parishad Chairman Al Imran. However, Chairman Al Imran denied the allegation, stating he knows nothing about who named whom as an accused.
