Two journalists and a content creator were attacked while gathering news on police drug recovery and narcotics consumption at Suhrawardy Udyan. The incident reportedly took place on September 27, 2026, around 7:00 PM. The injured victims have been identified as Siam Hossain Gazi of Agamir Somoy, Zohirul Islam of Protidiner Bangladesh and content creator Tofael Ahmed. They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in injured condition. All three sustained severe injuries.
