Two journalists were injured in a clash between leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir in front of Government Madrasah-e-Alia (Alia Madrasah) in Bakshibazar, Dhaka. The injured journalists are Nazmul Islam, a multimedia reporter for Samakal and Abdullah Al Mamun, a journalist for Bangladesh Bulletin. They were rescued in an injured condition and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). This incident occurred on August 4, 2026.
