Police assaulted three more journalists during the ‘Inqilab Mancha’ program near the Hotel InterContinental area. The victims are Masum, a video journalist for Jamuna TV, Megdad from Desherpatra and Imam Hossain from the Daily Sun. These attacks occurred on February 6, 2026. Specifically, Imam Hossain was assaulted after evening in the Shahbagh area. In all three instances, police members exhibited aggressive behavior and continued the assault even after the victims identified themselves as journalists.
