In Jhenaidah’s Kaliganj, journalist Mission Ali was publicly threatened by Hasan Ali, the brother of Jamaat leader Billal Hossain, over publishing a report against Billal. The incident took place around 2 p.m. on September 17 in front of the Upazila Agriculture Office in Kaliganj town. In addition, Jamaat leader Billal Hossain filed a General Diary (GD) with the police against Nayon Khondokar, the Kaliganj correspondent of the daily Kaler Kantho, for publishing the same report.
