The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) organized a two-day cricket conference to mark Bangladesh’s 25th anniversary of Test status and to advance the country’s cricket. However, due to the lack of media involvement in such a major event, and accusing the BCB of a cursory attitude by merely providing footage, sports journalists covering the program decided to boycott the event. This incident took place on November 11, 2025.
