Four journalists were injured while gathering news on a labor protest in Gazipur. Additionally, incidents of camera vandalism and the snatching of equipment took place. These incidents occurred on November 2, 2026. The attacked journalists are Jahangir Alam, Gazipur correspondent for Dipto TV, Mehedi Hasan, reporter for Somoy TV, video journalist Arif hossain from Somoy TV and a video journalist from SA TV. Allegations have been raised regarding the vandalism of Somoy TV’s camera as well as the snatching of Jahangir Alam’s camera.
