A probe committee has been formed to investigate allegations of corruption against Mahbub Morshed, the Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS). The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued an order in this regard on February 19, 2026. The order states that a four-member committee has been constituted to ensure a neutral, transparent, and fair review of the corruption allegations against Mahbub Morshed, which were recently reported in various media outlets.
