In Chattogram, Jamuna TV reporter Zobaid was detained at Khulshi Police Station and subjected to harassment and assault by CMP Deputy Commissioner Amirul Islam while on a reporting assignment. The incident occurred on October 12, 2025. Zobaid stated that he was kicked to the ground and beaten in various ways. He was also threatened with enforced disappearance.
