A defamation case has been filed against a journalist in Keraniganj, Dhaka, over allegations of spreading “personal photographs.” Md. Shekh Farid, a journalist for NTV, filed the case as the plaintiff. Samsul Islam Sonet, the Keraniganj representative for MyTV, was named as the defendant. The case was filed on March 11, 2026, in the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Mahfuzur Rahman in Dhaka.
