Allegations of an attack have been raised against a group targeting S K Sourav, a former senior reporter for SA TV, following a dispute between his nephew and a motorcyclist in Deliai Bazar under Khilpara Union of Chatkhil Upazila in Noakhali. He alleged that a group of 15 to 20 people severely beat him up and threatened to kill him and his nephew. The assault took place around 8:00 PM on October 20, 2026, in the middle of Deliai Bazar. The victim, S K Sourav, is currently working for an online news portal based in Dhaka.
