Arsonists set fire to the residence of Suman Ahmed, the Dhamrai correspondent for Dainik Bangladesh Bulletin. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM on February 20, 2026, in the Bhabanhati area of Balia Union, Dhamrai. Suman Ahmed reported that while preparing to sleep with his family, he heard a sound similar to dripping water, followed by sparks on the tin roof. He quickly exited with his family and, with the help of neighbors, managed to control the fire after 15-20 minutes. Although a portion of the tin roof and fence was burnt, no major casualties or damages were reported.
