Md. Mujahidul Islam, Senior Correspondent for the daily Dhaka Times, has received a death threat from the General Secretary of Alfadanga Pourashava BNP, Hasibul Hasan (alias Hasib). Mujahidul filed a General Diary (GD) at the Alfadanga Police Station on November 6, 2025. Mujahidul reported that between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM on November 5, Hasibul called him three times via Facebook Messenger and sent two audio messages, which contained veiled intimidation and defamation directed at him.
