Journalist Anis Alamgir has been taken to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) office. He was taken from a gym in Dhanmondi to the DB office around 7:30 PM on December 14, 2025. He had recently gained attention for various statements made on television talk shows. On social media, he was often labeled as an Awami League-aligned ‘propagandist’.
