Mahabub Alam Shrabon, a reporter for the newspaper Shomoyer Alo, was attacked in the Rayer Bazar area near the Martyred Intellectuals Memorial on the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals Day. The incident occurred on the morning of December 14, 2025. Shrabon was injured in the attack.
