Two journalists have been injured in an attack by Jamaat supporters in Tala Upazila, Satkhira. The attack on journalist Khan Nazmul Hossain took place on the evening of October 24, 2025, in the presence of local Jamaat leaders while he was collecting news at the Tala Hospital. Earlier that day, another journalist, Mostafizur Rahman Raju, and his family were attacked by Jamaat supporters over a family dispute, and Raju’s mother, Romesa Begum, is currently receiving treatment at the hospital for her injuries.
