Md. Al-Amin, a multimedia reporter of Kaler Kantho, was obstructed while broadcasting live news in front of the Javan Hotel in Tongi, Dhaka. The incident took place late at night on October 17, 2025. Not only was he obstructed, but several hotel staff also allegedly tried to drag him inside the hotel. It was further reported that the staff attempted to snatch his mobile phone and harassed him.
