In Jhenaidah, Wahiduzzaman Jillu, the owner of an NGO, threatened to “send to Doomsday” Aritra Kundu, a staff reporter of Kaler Kantho, over a published report. The journalist later filed a General Diary (GD) at the police station seeking safety. The threat was issued through a phone call made to Aritra Kundu’s mobile at 6:48 p.m. on October 12, 2025.
