On August 28, 2018, around 10 p.m., Subarna Akter Nodi, Pabna correspondent of private television channel Ananda TV, was brutally hacked to death by several assailants in front of Adarsha Girls’ High School in Radhanagar area of Pabna municipality. Alongside Ananda TV, she also worked as the Pabna correspondent for the daily Jagrat Bangla.
