In Dhamrai, Dhaka, Julhas Uddin, a local correspondent for Bijoy TV, was stabbed and hacked to death. The incident took place around 3 p.m. on September 3, 2020, at the Barbariya bus stand area of Dhamrai. According to locals, after returning from personal work in Dhaka, two men attacked Julhas from behind and stabbed him in the neck at the bus stand.
