On August 7, around 8:30 p.m., journalist Md. Asaduzzaman Tuhin, aged 38, was hacked to death in the Chandna Chowrasta area. He worked as a staff reporter for the daily Protidiner Kagoj in Gazipur. His home village was Vhatipara in Phulbaria upazila of Mymensingh.
