Rashed Khan, political assistant to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, has expressed dissatisfaction with two reports published by Amar Desh. He also posted a video on social media showing him tearing a copy of the newspaper.
The 5-minute-and-58-second video carries the caption: “Jamaat funding behind two misleading lead stories within 15 days?” He posted the video on both his verified Facebook profile and page.
In the video, Khan is seen expressing anger while tearing a copy of Amar Desh. He alleges that the two reports have damaged his personal reputation.
Earlier today, Amar Desh published a report titled “Hasina’s Son Joy and Some New BNP Members Have Joined Hands.” Before that, on October 15, the newspaper published another lead story titled “What Are the Prime Minister’s Advisers and Assistants Doing?” Rashed Khan’s name appeared in both reports.
