An allegation has been raised against an assistant teacher of Pirojpur Government Boys’ High School for illegally conducting coaching in violation of government directives. During this time, assistant teacher Arafat launched a sudden attack on three journalists who went to record video and collect information about the coaching. The incident occurred around 3:50 PM on August 24, 2026, in a room behind Shaheed Omar Farooq Kindergarten in the Krishnachura More area of Pirojpur town. Shofiqul Islam Masud, Pirojpur district correspondent for Star News and Daily Naya Diganta; Shafiul Millat, Pirojpur district correspondent for Channel 1; and Ziaul Haque, Pirojpur representative for Channel S were attacked in the assault.
