A defamation case was filed against NTV Staff Correspondent and Editor of ‘Munshiganjer Shomoy’ Moinuddin Suman, and Daily Bangladesh Pratidin District Correspondent Abu Sayeed Sourav, after they published a news report alleging bribery against a stenotypist at the Munshiganj District Civil Surgeon’s Office. Subsequently, a human chain was held on April 9, 2026, to protest against the lawsuit filed against them.
