The incident occurred on the night of July 10, 2026, in the Pallabi area of Mirpur, where Safura Bhavan had caught fire. While Robin was broadcasting live from the scene to provide immediate updates, he raised critical questions regarding the origin and cause of the fire. Instantly, a hostile mob of 20 to 30 unidentified individuals surrounded him, shouting threats and demanding an immediate halt to the transmission. The confrontation quickly escalated into physical battery as the crowd wrestled with the reporter to cut the feed.
