Video evidence and eyewitness accounts show an individual identified as Zubayer Alam repeatedly shoving Bahar, shouting insults, and demanding she remove her microphone. He then struck her equipment, causing her mobile phone to fall from its stand. Although operating under a journalist persona, it was later confirmed that Zubayer had been dismissed from Sonali News two months prior and currently has no institutional affiliation.
