Two journalists were attacked while covering a labor protest at the N. Mohammed Plastic Factory in Boalkhali, Chattogram. The incident occurred around 11:30 AM on March 12, 2026. The injured journalists are Debasish Barua Raju of Dainik Sangbad and Pujan Sen of Dainik Purbokone. They were also kept besieged for a period of time during the assault. Later, police and fellow journalists rescued them, and they were provided medical treatment at the Upazila Health Complex.
