Abu Saleh Musa, a Staff Reporter for Dainik Jugantor, faced obstruction from Ansar members while recording footage and live broadcasting an eviction drive of street food carts at Dhaka’s Shahbagh intersection. The incident occurred on March 8, 2026. During the encounter, Ansar members snatched Musa’s mobile phone. When he requested it back, they used offensive language and physically harassed him. Additionally, a hospital official present at the scene, identified as Mahabubul Alam, also behaved rudely. However, the phone was returned to him shortly after.
