At least 10 journalists were injured after a group of activists allegedly attacked the office of the Jagannath University Journalists’ Association at Jagannath University in Dhaka on March 5, 2026. Journalists of various national media outlets, including Kaler Kantho, Jugantor, Bangladesher Khobor, and Somoyer Alo, were injured in the attack. Journalists alleged that the attack was led by several hundred activists of Jagannath University Chhatra Dal.
