Cox’s Bazar DMRO: Additional DIG of Cox’s Bazar Tourist Police, Md. Appel Mahmud, has filed a General Diary (GD) against Shahhed Ferdous Heero, a journalist for the daily ‘Sakaler Cox’s Bazar’, following the publication of a news report. The GD was filed on March 3, 2026. Prior to this, on March 1, Shahhed Ferdous published a report investigative corruption and various irregularities involving Md. Appel Mahmud.
