Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Babu, a correspondent for Dainik Jugantor, was attacked in the Nagarkanda Upazila of Faridpur due to a long-standing dispute. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM on February 17, 2026, at the Nagarkanda Bazar. Following the assault, the injured journalist received treatment at the Nagarkanda Upazila Health Complex. After his initial recovery, he filed a written complaint with the Nagarkanda Police Station.
