Police recovered the body of a female media professional, Swornomoyee Biswas, from a residence in Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Her body was found on the evening of October 18, 2025, at an apartment in Navana Tower. Swornomoyee worked as a graphics designer for an online news outlet. Prior to her apparent suicide, she had raised allegations of sexual harassment against a colleague at her workplace.
