Since January 27, 2026, the online news portal ‘BDToday.net’ has become inaccessible via mobile data. A report by ‘The Dissent’ states that a spokesperson for Grameenphone confirmed the website was blocked following instructions from the BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission). In contrast, mobile operator Robi has denied any responsibility for blocking the site.
